i know what each of us are thinking about, and i know they don't match.

time is unforgiving, never stopping.

it bites at us to move on, and when we don't want to,

the pain comes back tenfold.

we are all afraid of losing one another

that we try harder to tie us down

albeit with different methods.

we curse this hobby of ours, which controls our lives

yet it is because of it that we meet.

it should never be prioritized above friendship.

we all wish to be able, to drop all of them

and spend the time in each other's company instead.
